Ashanti tours: Completely arranged 3 and 4 day trips through Ashanti-Ghana

You have booked your tickets and are looking at how to plan your trip to Ghana. There is quite a lot of information about certain regions on the internet. But how do you know where to go? Which sights are really worth seeing? How far apart are the highlights, which excursions can be combined in one day? How do you travel to all these beautiful places and what does it cost?
Imagine that you travel all the way to Ghana and end up spending a lot of time on the road because Google maps sends you on narrow paths and did you know that it can be very difficult to locate the headquarters of the smaller national parks?
Or you follow the recommendations of Instagram travellers and end up missing out on those very special, off-the-beaten-path experiences.

Amazing Ashanti Tour

We did the ultimate experience Ashanti tour (instead of a shorter one), because we thought that all activities would be valueable to our experience of Banko and surroundings. It really was a nice tour! We visited exclusive places such as traditional shrines and Prayer’s Mountain and learned a lot. It was nice to be accompanied by tourguides Justice and Lydia who, since they’re familiar with the place, really add value to the conversations that we had there. The host Pat is also amazing. Together they will make you feel welcome and make sure you’ll enjoy your stay. You can ask them anything.

Enjoy without distractions during your Ashanti trip

Leave the worrying up to us, Moon&Star will take care of everything! All you have to do is be here and enjoy! Adventurous excursions, beautiful surroundings, relaxed accommodation and every Ashanti tour by Moon&Star guesthouse ends with a barbeque and bonfire.

My stay at the Moon and Star Guesthouse was the highlight of my trip to Ghana. Your delightful lodge, the wonderful meals, the evening BBQ, the carefully guided tours – all of it was a magnificent package. I realized a lifetime dream to sit in a waterfall. It was ecstasy! Trekking into the national sanctuary with Mr. Emmanuel, the transport crew, and Park Ranger Daniel was, in itself, a fantastic way to spend a day in the wild. My family felt protected during our exciting hike into the nature reserve. I wouldn’t have ventured into the falls without that security and would have missed (most likely) my last chance for a tremendous moment. The evening BBQ was a lovely way to unwind and interact with the guesthouse team.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Thank you for being where you are, the way you operate, and the cause you support.

 Sincerely,

Carol, USA/South Carolina

The differences and similarities between the multi-day Ashanti tours

With all options you arrive at Moon&Star the day before the tour, so that we can really start on day 1. Dinner and your overnight stay are included in the price.

Needless to say, the ultimate experience trip through Ashanti is the most extensive. You will climb a mountain, visit craft villages, spend a day in Kumasi, visit traditional shrines, the waterfalls and jungle of Bomfobiri and participate in the Traditional cooking class. The ultimate experience option is really for you if you want to see and experience as much as possible during your stay with us in Banko.

If, on the other hand, you want to take it a bit easier, enjoy the garden more, maybe go for a swim in the vicinity and don’t feel like the hustle and bustle of Kumasi, then the standard 4-day Ashanti tour is really for you!

During the 3-day trip you will climb the mountain, participate in the Traditional Cooking class, visit the craft villages and Bomfobiri.

With all options you will enjoy a picnic at a waterfall and we end with a delicious BBQ and bonfire.

The trips through Ashanti-Ghana are completely arranged and yet very competitively priced

Everytime I go to Ghana, I pass here <3
Clean place, very beautifully made rooms, simple but perfect, great staff, garden to relax, good food and perfect base to do day trips (I used to do hikes to the Holy Mountain, it’s just 2 hours & while walking you pass local villages and beautiful nature), easy to reach Kumasi (but lovely you can sleep out of the busy city and its noises). And booking a room here, you know the money is also invested in the community of Banko, which I find important. I highly recommend this place! 5 stars X 100000!
