Feel at home at our guesthouse in Banko-Ashanti
Meet #teammoonandstar: Doris, Frimpong, Comfort, Ismael and Pat.

Our aim is that all our guests feel at home here, no matter if you are a long term guest who stays here for a few months, a tourist or just passing by. That is why we are very informal.

I am the owner and manager of Moon&Star Guest house. This sounds very impressive… But at the same time I’m also the receptionist, the cook, the cleaning lady, the hostess and so on…
In 2001 I came to Ghana for the first time. It was love at first sight. I felt very attracted to Banko, the town were I was volunteering for 6 months.
Ever since I have been dreaming of a life in Banko.
Together with my son Tetey, my daughter Lucy and the staff I hope to welcome you soon at Moon&Star guesthouse
Your hosts
Doris, Comfort and Pat are the ones that make sure that everything is in order during your stay.
Let us surprise you with our amazing food!
Besides being your hosts we are also busy with Banko Women Center.
You will find Pat every Wednesday and Thursday morning at the office. And for the day to day stuff Doris and Comfort make a stop there every day.
Asabere and Obechem
Moon&Star’s about us page isn’t complete without introducing our co-owner Asabere Kingsley Anni and his mother Obechem.
Asabere handles the paperwork for Moon&Star guesthouse and is our go-to person for advice. His mother Obechem is the go-to person for a dose of happiness and she is the host for the traditional cooking workshop that you can book with us.
Her groundnut soup is the best!!

This guest house is like the best in the whole of Ghana , I mean to talk about the value in hospitality ,meeting beautiful host and staffs very peaceful when you get in your bed and wake up at ease , place is Soo cool 👌
Completely blown away by how it feels like my home away from home . The serenity is 100% Habitable , beautiful nature environment 🕺
