Where should we go on holiday? On a Ghana tour!
What are we going to do in Ghana? Travelling around and getting to know all the aspects of this beautiful West African country!
But in what way? Simple! You contact me, Patricia Zoer, from Moon&Star guesthouse.
You fill me in on your bucket list for Ghana, you just relax and I’ll organize a great tour in Ghana! It’s no problem if you don’t have a list of places of interest in Ghana that you definitely want to see.
I love to share my knowledge about travelling in Ghana
With my almost 20 years of experience in Ghana, both as an entrepreneur, volunteer and as a traveler, I can say that I am quite familiar with the customs, traditions, customs and itineraries. I love to share my knowledge with our guests and with people who are interested in travelling, volunteering or working in Ghana.
It is my wish that every traveller gets to know the real Ghana. Authenticity, sustainability and small scale are the core values.
During the preparation and the Ghana tour we keep in touch on a regular basis
When you book a tour through Ghana with Moon&Star guesthouse we will talk about your bucket list in depth. What do you want to see, what is your budget, which means of transport? Some people find it great to travel with local transport, but want to have a back up plan. For those people we make an extensive travel description, we book the hotels and we are always available for questions on the go. Other travelers prefer the comfort of a luxury car and driver. For those we arrange that. Everything is possible, it is your holiday in West Africa!
We have as much or as little contact as it takes. The important thing is that you are completely pleased with the itinerary!
You will receive an E book with a very detailed tour description a few weeks before departure.
“What a lot of fun and for now already so well organized! I’ve never been on such a vacation, it seems as if we really don’t have to do anything anymore and just can enjoy ourselves”.
From a happy guest after receiving the E book
Can I organise a trip through Ghana myself?
Yes, you can! If you read well, have some travel experience, use common sense and in addition to all information sources such as Google and social media, you should also buy a good travel guide. A travel guide, like the Bradt guide Ghana gives practical information, but also a lot of details. Experience shows that during a tour of Ghana you can not only rely on Google maps.
Don’t forget to include Moon&Star guesthouse during your trip!
I work completely transparant to your budget.
I charge a fee for organizing your trip. But that’s it! You are in charge of your own wallet during your trip in Ghana.
This is what you get when you call in my expertise:
- All your wishes met according to your schedule
- Price estimate for hotels, entrance fees and meals
- Booking accommodations
- Arranging a car and driver, or a guide if you wish to travel with local transportation
- E book with detailed travel itinerary and usefull information
- A travel itinerary for the driver/guide
- I am available for questions and remarks during the entire trip
- I provide the necessary documents for the visa application
- Advice on vaccinations, what to pack and other preparations

Would you like personal contact before you decide to book with us? Mail us to make an appointment for a WhatsApp Video call!
We are a retired British couple used to traveling in the developing world -in South and Central America, Morocco and Asia- and I am hoping to book a 3 week holiday in Ghana for my wife and I in April/May.
Your website looks really interesting and I wanted to confirm that you would book travel and accommodation for us during our trip, based on our interests for €200, or the two of us booking your 5 day Ashanti Tour. Is this correct.
Also from what I can see April/May is the start of the wet season, any thoughts on this timing?
Thanks in advance and I trust all is well with you.
